If your rears are locking up first, if anything you want a little more front bias so you can squeeze the pedal harder. Threshold braking generally means your concentrating on the fronts being just off the point of locking. And if your weight is falling too far forward under this setting already, you need a stiffer suspension.
And so begins your journey of destroying a nice street car with after market track parts. My car hasnt even been started in 2 weeks.

Very cool... Gotta love the cheap track time that you get with them. Plus since its a small group essentially the rules are go learn, have fun, and don't get hurt. COM is so much more structured because they have to be with their number of members/entrants, but it detracts from what I like so much about running with the smaller PCA groups.
I was figuring if I could keep more weight on the rear I could squeeze the brakes harder. The ass end of the car came around on me at NHIS after what I thought was a reasonable amount of braking... it unloads the suspension bigtime as you can see in the pics
I've already begun siphoning out the streetability... the clutch went a week before I was headed out to NHIS, so it has a Spec stage II, which in spite of the manufacturers claims isn't that street friendly. The car also got big brakes in the spring because it kept seizing the "smaller" 12" factory setup. My street tires are my rain track tires...
The bug bit years ago, but the cash is just starting to make it to the car Aside from the suspension my biggest gripe is that I want harnesses, so I can focus on the driving, not staying in the seat (plus I like the idea of being safer). I'll probably be in the market for this cars big brother soon (C6???) so itll become my dedicated track car at some point down the road.

Oh and me but I haven't attended a track event with them in ages because I just don't have the time lately. Probably lost my membership by now but it's just a click away.....

Ugly strippers really ruined it, eh?
I'm trying to get DJ to put "Steward of Awesomeness," "Chief of Blistering Speed" or something equally obnoxious on my fleece.

Haha I was kidding, was seeing if you'd actually do it but now you've foiled my plan. Really tho, tech is fine. I'll request an obnoxious one next year.
I love how all the old Patroon guys think I'm an egomaniac from paddock trash talking. It's going to be a fun day when I wad it up and all I hear is "we all knew that was coming!" See I even stuck in an old guy joke.
Have you been lurking on here the whole time?! Or are you just checking in on 1stgen?

You my friend have a twisted sense of humor sometimes. Let's save the "wadding up" for 24hrs Of Lemons next year.....
