OPEN TRACK - Instructors, instructor candidates, and highly advanced drivers! Please join us for 4-4.5 hours of track time PER DAY!

Patroon and NY BMWCCA's June WGI event is open for registration. We're using a new format this year to maximize seat time for all of our drivers. Highly advanced drivers are encouraged to submit their experience for our open track/advanced driver group with 4-4.5hrs per day and advanced training. Novice/Intermediate/Experienced students will have approximately 2hrs per day. Maximize your track time and become a better driver on a world class race track.

So you need to be a BMWCCA member? and $395 is for 2 days (I presume). I am interested; but June might be too early for me, I don't think my savings will recover until late summer after dropping 4k on SB

Ouch on SB. Been putting off that bill for years now.

DJ is on here, I'm sure he'll chime in eventually. The Datsun sadly is no longer with us. The S13 is still taking full track and autox schedules like a champ.

No need to be a BMWCCA member, however I think there is a +$40 fee for non-members. The membership costs $40, its designed to increase membership. Sign up once and get the discount for all the events.

$395 is for 2 days, if you're an open track driver, double your track time for $55 more.

I see.

All my tires are shot after the last time I went there, so I will need a new set; plus I want to upgrade my front brakes and alignment job for more negative camber. Looks like I will need to spend 1k before I can do another HPDE.

I would really love to start tracking my car by the summer of 09 if all goes well.

Any Guests need to be on a list presented to WGI before the event. If you are not on the list--They will not let you in.

Rocket Punch --Yes I am still driving the 240. Upgraded the MAF and intake piping over the winter. LSD on the way and a set of Cams that should make it in before WGI in June if not before next month at Pocono.

I miss the 510 --and have a spare CA18DET sitting in the garage that I want to stick in one --but am too short on $$ to do so right now ---and need to find a 510 shell first.


To anyone reading this --GO TO THE TRACK! --It is addicting and just a bunch of people who share the same car disease you all do. If you have not been there before --We do have instruction ( that group is filling fast) for all types of experience.

What are the fees for attending as a guest? I am very interested in seeing how this works and possibly snapping some pictures?

There are NO fees to attend as a guest, FREE!!

However, for Watkins, you need to be on the guest list to get through the front gate. If you'd like to come as a guest, email DJ late May or early June and we'll make sure you get on.
