F1 and ALMS last weekend?

Any F1 or ALMS fans around? How about Melbourne and Sebring!?

Wacky F1 race and another year of P2 overall wins!??! Porsches first overall 12hr of Sebring win since Hans Stuck in a 962 in 1988.

I was watching a little of the 12hr. Tuned in right around the half way point. Audi's TDi's were having problems at that point. Got bored with the constant shots of the audi in the tent and turned it off.

THE PENSKE TEAM KILLED IT.. they had there share of problems but deff pulled out a great win, the flying dragon did pretty well seeing as it went into the wall early and i feel real bad for the acura team.. i saw the special they had on speed about how they were getting ready for the race and they came a long way from last years problems.. all in all it was a good race.. oh and i'm glad to hear BMW is coming back to the series

as for f1.. my boy lewis hamilton is doing it again.. he's taking the trpohie this year for overall points and after his dominant win sunday he deff hasn;t missed a step from last year.. plus with them taking away the traction control on the cars they crash a whole lot more, which makes for a lot more fun.. plus with the high compression ratio the engine braking i guess has been increased greatly.. this will deff be a great season and i hope ferrari keeps up there good work and stays in dead last thos pompus asses.. (all 5 of the ferrari engines blew up in the race)

on a side note if anyone hasn't seen lewis hamilton on top gear yet i suggest you go watch it.. his lap time in the resonable priced car is absolutely amazing

1320ride is an unknown quantity at this point

i stopped watching F1 when damon hill got out of it... schumacher was just getting into the sport and beginning to dominate for ferrari.. before that Williams / Renault was king.

ALMS P1 got owned by a P2.

F1 was a mess. Kimi's performance was disappointing, silly mistakes is unacceptable for F1 champ. Lew Ham sail to a win, I project he will win the championship this year; love him or hate him, there is no doubt he can drive. Expect to see BMW to be up front more this year, looks like the risk they are taking with the F108's design is paying off. Kudos to Seb-B, great debut drive only to let down by the car at the very end. Rubino got a delayed DQ, but it is really the lollipop man at fault; Brawn did revealed that he did not give any advice to the team at all for this race so he can monitor how the team works; well looks like he will be giving some advice for next race. Nico's wet dream finally came true as his FW30 got a podium, probably due to people in front of him dropping like flies near the end. If i recall correctly only 7 cars finished this race.

No TC + Spec ECU is simply great, cars are now a bit difficult to drive (fast); with the cut on aero next year, I hope FIA brings back the slicks.

Sepang is in a few day, will be live on Speed at 3AM. I will be watching it live, who's with me?? lol.

+1 for watching it live. It's tradition in my house to pull an all nighter for it.

Hamilton is an fantastic driver in a fantastic car, he'll take the drivers championship. The constructors is usually more interesting and this year is going to be great with 4 fast teams.

Kimi made way too many mistakes period. Especially for someone that has experience driving w/o TC and 2/3 of his issues were caused by driver induced loss of traction. I'm a blind Kimi fan tho, he can do no wrong.

It was the crew chiefs fault that Rubens dragged 2 crew members down the pit lane but its his fault he left the pits under red when I think F1's norm is to stack the pit exit until it goes green.

Rosberg has moments of brilliance but I agree, he wont see the podium on a regular basis. Everyone knows Bourdais is a helluva driver in a mediocre car, but he was keeping ahead of a Renault/Alonso and McLaren/Kovalainen for 7+ laps. If he gets a new pair of glasses, I'll be a fan.

+1 FOR SLICKS AND LIMITED AERO! Bring back the good old days!

Hard to believe and F1 GP was more exciting than an ALMS race.

I simply do not see how FIA can cut 50% aero and not providing any means for the teams to increase mechanical grip.
