So basically you are free to locate the baseplate as long as those are the only place where the cage will be attached to and does not cut/form/hack/dent any part of the car. Very interesting and cool info. b(^_^)d

So J, will you be replacing all the glass with lexan (if allowed by rule book)? or you already have them done?

Correct. Base plates are limited to 100 sq inches. In prepared, we cannot modify the chassis at all, except the horizontal sheet metal between the top of the a-pillar and b-pillar only for the purpose of pushing the cage bar further away from the driver's head. Adam proceeded to beat the bejesus out of mine.

No lexan allowed sadly. Completely stock body except for rolled fenders, splitter, and wing.
