Saw this as a homework assignment for my Contemporary Film class. The film was...well, a whole lot of pursuing, but not a whole lot of happiness. Except for about 5 minutes, most of the movie was quite depressing, and my friends and I left the theatre feeling pretty down. But it also had some very inspirational moment(s). I'd watch it again.
i wanted to kill myself the whole movie, then i cried at the end, very sad, depressing, real movie, Will Smith was awesome in this movie, man what a movie it was. I give it a 8 out of 10

Compared to what I saw in the previews I was very disappointed. They made it out to be a rags to riches story when really they just blew all of their money on those bone density scanners which turned out to be a horrible investment then he had to start all over. Very smart man with a good work ethic gets ahead in life was the moral of the movie. Not up to expectations, good movie otherwise.

Yeah, I guess the story wasn't entirely accurate either. He didn't have it quite that bad in real life - the internship was longer and was paid fairly well.
