Children of Men
Another homework assignment for my film class. I made the mistake of reading some reviews on this movie before seeing it. The reviews were absolutely stellar, so I went to the theatre with very high expectations, and was actually a bit disappointed. I didn't think the movie was as amazing as most reviewers did. It was by no means a bad movie, but not 10 out of 10 (in my opinion). Worth seeing, though. I just wish the story went a bit further. My classmates and professor agreed that the film just kind of...stops...at the end. Not much closure, leaves a lot of questions unanswered. But very interesting story and great characters (I <3 Jasper). I'm just not a huge fan of movies that make me leave the theatre feeling depressed, heh.
7.5 out of 10. For those who've seen it...why do you think it's called "Children of Men"?
