Beowulf
So I caught this tonight in IMAX 3D and yes OMG it is the amazing. If you guys haven't heard of or read the story, it's pretty much the oldest story in the english language about a guy who tells story about his heroic deeds and is asked to slay a demon known as Grendel. Not to spoil anything but it deals with a guy who has to live up to his legend and prove that he is the baddest thing to walk the planet. Digital Angelina Jolie is uber hot a well as Robin Wright Penn. Probably one of the best CG movies I've ever seen and it follows the book very closely. Those who are fans of the book like me will get a kick out of them using old english at times. Great great movie..see it in IMAX 3D if you can or Digital 3D. I'll probably see it again since I am a big fan of the story.
If Beowulf is so badass how come every video game he's in I kick the shit out of em? Lol
Seriously, yea that looks like a great movie. I'm a big fan of that mythology stuff and greek shit as well. Didn't know it was in IMAX though...where'd you go to see that?
It was very close to the book. I thought the 3d effects were actually quite good. Best example was the water running down the screen at the beginning. I thought overall the movie was a little childish and corny.

Yeah the water was awesome...and when the eagle grabbed the mouse too. I could have done without that Grendel scene where he screams after the Queen started singing. I jumped.
