I drove the car in stock form for a few miles, touched my TB and just about burnt my hand.
Performed the bypas mod, drove through stop and go traffic and raced around. Touched my TB.. aaaahhhh cool to the touch. Sometimes it was just a smidge warm. Now with the turbo it gets smoking hot because I have no IC.
sure, if you have it.
I don't know if WRX's have it because they are turbo-d. I'm sure they could. We can do it friday after I put the HYDRA back in with the WBO2. Plus I figured you may want to see my plexi-floor. It'll be pretty sweet.
all you need is some tubing or brake line to plug the two lines together. You want to maintain flow in that coolant loop. You don't want to just block it off. That's why it's called a bypass.
I think 3/8 or 7/16 brake line works well if you cut the flared ends off of it.
