so what's a throttle body bypass? Is that something like an air filter bypass? or cross drilled brake lines and blinker fluid?
No, its an actual thing. You bypass the coolant that runs through the brake lines since the coolant that runs through there is hot. It has dynoed between 6 and 10 rwhp difference in LT1's which isn't too bad for a free mod
But I've never heard of coolant running through the brake lines. That would give one spongey pedal.
Have you done that mod during the winter? How does it affect you? It is designed to keep the TB from icing up and stickin in an open position. Turbo cars don't have to worry to much because our turbos add heat to the intake charge, but NA cars run under vacuum. When you are under vaccum water freezes easier.
