LoL Well remeber I'm in STS with less of an adjustment than you and we are going for the same seasonal points in Street!
last years standings... (adjusted times) Examples:
Event 2: (Tsunami-X)
STS 61 Morris, Thomas 05 Subaru Impreza RS 38.864 0.797 30.97461
BSP 2 Smith, Eric 03 Mitsubishi EVO 37.556 0.843 31.65971
Event 3:
STS 61 Morris, Thomas 05 Subaru Impreza RS 39.398 0.797 31.400
BSP 2 Smith, Eric 03 Mitsubishi EVO 37.599 0.843 31.696
ETC....
You only beat me @ event 5 and 7 after the adjusted times.... (and I missed event 1)
And your adjustment difference from BSP to SM is .002 different... (in the bad way)
Well Good luck
I guess what is bad for me... Is that I will be missing out on event 1 and Probably wont have the suby out of the bodyshop untill early July... So I am going to make event 2 and possibly 3 with my escort... and hope for the best... (luckily I've got 1.5 degree total toe out in the rear to totaly eliminate any chance of understeer, but a great chance of a spin out )

Yep - there's a lot of very good drivers in the STS class. I was battling it out with the other top SP'ers, who were on R compounds, while I was still on my street rubber. I had hoped to get on equal "footing" with them, and then see how we matched up.
I was surprised at how little difference the PAX was when I looked it up.
It'll be interesting to see how much I can pick up with the new race rubber. And there's ALWAYS room for driver upgrading...
But the biggest advantage I'll have is - I'm in charge of timing and scoring this year!

With all the suspension work Im doing to my car, I should go to an auto-x and see what happens. Never done it before so it should be interesting!

Dammit, stop following me! I'm pretty sure I'm SM now.
Daddio is at Devens? Just with the tour? I'd love to see him drive.

Class stalker: lol believe me, it's not my idea to bump up to the next level. It's tough making the car good on the track AND prepped for autox.
Daddio has registered as SM for the June 9th-10th Devens National Tour event, and apparently DJ and I, among others, get to make his victory look even more impressive. Lucky for him he's got a front LSD to keep me away - that, 200+ lbs less car weight, and about $30K of development:

EJ...let me know when you're going to drive out. I may just have to go to check out the event since its sounding like itis going to be a heck of a shootout out there this year.

Justin - I drive out the day before and stay with friends I have in the area when I run at Devens. It's very convenient for me since I don't have to get up at some ungodly hour and drive the day of the event.
With that said, I'm not sure what that event's policy on spectators is - I've never run this event before. When I do BMWCCA events there, all I would need to do is put your name on a list, or I think now you can just show up and sign in as a spectator.
From what I read on the SCCA event, they do make mention of spectators, as in "no competitors, crew, or spectators can approach the timing vehicle", but they don't say how you get in.
