Eh, thats not the entire reason... I'm just considering parting it out or selling it as a whole just to get some money, and move on to another project. Right now, my focus is TM, and I won't be able to get the car to where I want it. Definitely not now, and it may not be worth it to go as far as I want to....

From what I've heard, they cap the event at 250 entrants. The place will be a zoo, and I can't imagine where they'll park spectators, but you're probably right.

With that said, I don't think I'm going at this point. I had 7 events booked for June, and something has to give, so I'm thinking it'll be that one.

That's great - look forward to having you there. Of course, I'll be the new timing guy running around with my hair on fire because it's not exactly a common sense setup. You'll enjoy it - it's a pretty good group to hang with, as Jesse will attest.

Here's the deal with that - fire extinguishers cost money to recharge, and we don't like shelling out for recharging. Also, when we get a site, we promise to leave it cleaner than when we arrived, so no one wants to have to sweep up what's left of your meth fireball.

The SCCA rules can be daunting at times, especially if you show up with a modded vehicle. The local guys are pretty cool and will class you within reason, but the Nationals level is nuts for strictness. We've had guys run with engine swaps from other manufacturers, but that wouldn't cut it in most classes on the national level.

Heck, I even nearly modded myself right out of SM with my visit to KTA. You missed a great bargain on a Carbing brace, Justin!

You can keep the washer fluid. Although, my One Lap co-driver used to empty his washer fluid on the drive to an autocross event each time because it represented "up to 9 lbs" of dead weight. Some people are a bit more committed than others, I guess.

EJ, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I was asking if I can use windshield washer fluid in my meth injection tank or if I had to use water. I'm assuming if I can have washer fluid in the normal tank then having that in the meth tank isn't a problem.

... In scca ONLY water injection is legal... Not meth at all... washer fluid is a form of water/alcohol and therefore illegal... Plus, I dont think you'd want to go putting the Blue dye in your injection system...

It's pretty common to use washer fluid in injection systems and it wont stain anything.

Yes, if you're using the simpler "blue" style stuff, which is essentially water, alcohol, a little bit of soap and blue dye.

The other specialty crap like RainX, De-Icers and Bug/Tar style fluids will screw up your motor over time. Not the kind of chemicals and additives you want to run into your motor.
