Park & Ride 6/8/07

Well as most of you already know, we were told we are not alowed to hang out at Kohls/ Mc Donalds any more.

Well the Park & Ride right of Exit 8 is calling for us to come back.
Lots of room, and the cops up there let us be. as long as theres no, Burnouts, wreckless driving, racing, etc.... The just told us to have fun.

Seems like a good place to me.
So Starting next Friday night, thats where ill be instead of Kohls. Spread the word. Only to people who arent gonna drive like assholes.


Kenny, maybe you would be Interested in Moving your BBQ up there as well. We brought up a grill before, and the cops allowed it. as long as we dont leave trash everywhere.

Great idea guys! Plus it's right in the middle of everyone - right in the middle of Saratoga and Colonie so it's a great meeting place and usually had a great turnout when we went there - plus less bullcrap because kids don't feel like they can just pull in there when they don't know anyone. =-) So definetly good thinking!

off exit 8 on the northway?! where exactly? Ive been up there a few times delievering parts, but not many...

and yeah, well see how this works out. Hopefully better than Kohl's...

Its a bit further out but if it means a spot to hang out and all Im ok with a little bit of a ride.

if your going north on 87 get off 8.. take a left go to your 3rd light.. take a left... go down to the end of the really short road and take another left and then go 100 ft and you'll be in the parking lot

if you guys wanted something closer I guess mohawk commons would be decent. Almost all the stores close at 9pm... just thought Id throw that out there even though itll get shot down

The same issue with the Colonie PD would ensue shortly after. Should consider an area outside of Colonie and try to make friendly with the locals. We already have an established reputation with the State/Local police in the Clifton Park area from when RSpeed used to have regular hang outs at the park and ride off exit 8. Never had any problems there. They only ask us to carry out whatever trash we carried in. Which I found to be more than fair.

Exactly. They seem to be a little bit more tolerant of us. Colonie cops never were.

I agree also with the BBQ idea, i loved it when we did that at the park and ride before.

Ill be there tonight.
