Scammed by a local

Wtf is wrong with people. Ive done dealing on the net for years and years and have never ever had a problem that wasnt immediately resolved.

Now some dirtbag in Schenectady gives me a shitty check and wont fucking pay up due to his "court fees".


Not only that, but he is claiming one of the amplifiers is broken....although i tested them both for power before I sold them.

He told me he had precision look at it and the "hard drive was blown" I checked with the shop and they said they didnt look at shit.

Where are those kids with bats, are they for hire?

so now the 100 i was supposed to get for the amps I am out of, plus a $10 fee for the bounced check. and this kid wants to get me 50 bucks. fuck him.

I'd say first off, it's his problem even IF the amp doesn't work. He bought it, and should have checked it first....your not a store, and you don't have a return pollicy right?
I would call the police....show them the bad check, and let them deal with it.

You have to file in the county office building in most places. Are you in the same county as him? It would be in his county if I understand right.

Careful about recorded stuff. IIRC you can not record a phone conversation without both parties being aware of it. Voicemail and answering machines are a different story.

I meant AIM logger I only talked to him on the phone once or twice, everthing else was online. I guess he is in schenectady county so i will have to go to that court.

I'd meet up with him, take BOTH amps back to have them tested and then keep them. Give him back his check. Sell the amps on ebay.
