Exhaust shops?

Wheres a good local exhaust shop that can make an exhaust using 409 stainless steel and mandral bends? My car needs a new exhaust rather badly. Thanks!

Pete's probably wont have anything like that there but they should be able to do anything you want if you bring them the parts.

IMO, Petes can suck it. The welds are like bird poo, and I've never had so many leaks on an exhaust before. Not to mention the tips were crooked, and I had to fix them when I got home. They were too busy to fix them at the time. Nothing like hacking up an exhaust I just spent money to get installed to make it look right.

Not too many mandrel benders in this area last time I was checking ~2 years ago

Pete's is the absolute worst exhaust shop around.
Their welds are horrible and the exhaust falls off alot- it happened to a friend and a few other people I know.
Rumor has it that they stick weld with coat hangers.

My brother had a muffler put on there last year and they put a 2.5" opening muffler on a 2.25" pipe and 'sealed' it with a shitty bead of weld and then spray painted the weld. It looked like shit.

Broadway Service on Broadway in Schenectady is good but I dont know if they mandrel bend or not.

Contact Adam (BoxerSix) on the forums. He can make you a very nice exhaust. He has made me several custom systems and I've never had a hint of trouble.

Sent you a PM regarding this. I'm not the cheapest around, but the people that run stuff I've built have had zero issues.

J...thanks for the props

Broadway Service off Broadway has had some shitty service too. Some of the people who work there make me wonder how they function in life.
