Rochester Rides For Life and the Strong Regional Trauma Center invite you to the third annual Rides for Life car show. Enter your vehicle in the car and bike show, with judging classes showcasing everything from imports to domestics, classics to beaters, and trucks to bikes. There will be raffles, food, and music all afternoon. Come show off your vehicle while raising awareness and promoting responsible driving!


The Rochester Chapter of the Injury-Free Coalition for Kids is a non-profit organization whose members include people from local government, community activists, and physicians from Golisano Chilren’s Hospital. Their goal is to reduce the number of injuries sustained by children in our community. They are active in creating programs for home, playground, and traffic safety.

Why isn't it on the RIT campus anymore?

Several reasons... the biggest reason was that we needed to be 'sponsored' by an RIT club, and the majority (actually I think ALL) of the planning committee no longer are students at RIT.

That, and the fact that RIT-required liability insurance for outside groups is a killer...

eh liability insurance isn't much at all. We had it at AUTOFEST last year. $1 mil policy.

It is if you're on a shoestring budget and were hoping to do more than just booths (demonstrations, etc.) And the show's deliberately priced low to get those that wouldn't normally go to $15-$30 shows.

That being said - who did your insurance policy? I'll be looking for next year.

I got my show insurance through the same people that hold my company's liability, building, and equipment insurance. I'll have to get you the name because I can't remember right now.

Booth is fine by me - we're doing a planning meeting tonight at Mykonos & probably will sort out where vendors would go. And let me know who that insurance company is - I'd like to hit them up for next year...

Cool, we usually take up about 20x30 space, but most of us will register our cars/bikes

The insurance agent is Cleary Insurance in Macedon. Their number is 315-986-7017. IIRC my $1 mil policy for last years car show was just under $500.
