I wanted to go to this last year, but guys from my work told me horror stories about cars getting stolen there and Montreal. They said when you go to the cops they just tell you sorry your car is probably already chopped up and on a ship headed someplace over seas. Needless to say I chickened out. It sounds like a lot of fun though. Do modified cars have any problem getting across the border?

The event organizers get and official document that they give you to bring with you to cross the border. Other then the typically rude border people and there stupid million question game its not a problem. As for cars getting stolen the event is indoors and the cars are parked in a garage after if you stay the final night instead of driving home at 1am.
