Big Thanks to ALLLLL

Just wanted to say thanks with my inaugural post on Rspeed. The day went super smooth, even with the cold temps. Once again, couldnt have asked for a better group of people. I think and hope fun was had by all, I still giggle when I think about the lighting and the utter shocking display of torque and hp that thing threw down. Gotta love setting a new record for wheel torque.

Dinner was a riot and topped the day off rather nicely with brew and million dollar noodles that the baller himself just had to get.

Justin, you did a hell of a job gettin everyone here as usual, mucho thanks.

Oh yeah, cant forget to mention mikes glowing manifold, 10 on the coolness scale

Thanks again, cant wait for next time!

Seth

What's the dyno record for an domestic/import on your dyno?
Do you use any correction #s?
Also, do you have any baseline #s? Mustang Dynos tend to read a bit different than DP/DJs.

Yes, Brew=Beer. Don't be so damn inflated to be thinking your important enough to be discussed

Auggie, there are numbers on every sheet w/o cf and wcf...I'm not sure what the cf was/is set for or what the standard is.

Torque record is now owned by drew with the 609 ft lbs which I (believe) was WCF.

But yes, the thanks should be directed to Moon Performance for being kind enough to host another event for the Capital Region. Hopefully in the future we can continue to generate this type of support for a great facility with great people running it. Thank you.

You have to be more specific...baseline numbers for what exactly?

A correction factor is used. I'm not sure exactly what it is. I know Cossey's car was only 2-3whp and wtq higher WCF (approximately, may have been a little more or less). I'm sure as more people post their graphs or dyno sheets you can see what the #'s are wcf and w/o cf.

EDIT: SAE was the correction. Which, shouldn't even apply to boosted cars becase, as explained to me, the correction factors atmospheric pressure and theoretically the boost makes up the difference cause its based on absolute pressure not observed.

Just trying to save the aggrivation. And you on top of everyone should know that every dyno reads different in every location Auggie. I'm surprised to hear such rhetorical stuff on a dyno debate from you.

And what prompted this line of questioning from Seth's "thank you"? Seems a bit of a strange response...

Also...if you want a baseline

Ted's GTO made 348whp at Redline on the Dyno Dynamics and xxx wtq.

Ted's GTO made 295ish whp at Moon on the Mustang and 311wtq.

Hope that helps you get your head round it all.
