There is a Jeet Kwan Doe school in the Albany area, depending on where you're from. They're also opening a new school over by the Watervliet Arsenal.

Also...that was Kimbo's first offically sanctioned MMA fight. Now that he's being trained by Bas Reutten (MMA Legend) he's a whole different fighter. Did you see the exhibition fight he had in the cage against Ray Mercer? Good in the clinch, nice mui tai knees, took him down, then submitted him w/ a guillotene. He clobbered Cantrell in no time flat to offically go 1-0 in professional MMA. In a weak heavyweight division...there may not be a whole lot of competition out there for him if he continues to grow as a rounded MMA fighter. As far as getting winded vs Gannon...he defenitely got the better of Gannon in that fight (did you see Gannons face?!?) he just gassed in the end. But who wouldn't after 10 min of that nonsense? With the training he's receiving now he should be much more capable of going for a distance. I can't wait to see who EliteXC matches him up with next.

Jeet Kune Do was Bruce Lee's martial art that he started. It borrows alot from Kung Fu, Jujitsu, grappling, etc...
I read a pretty interested book on it.

Yeah, in comparision to other forms of Martial Arts its in its infancy however. It's a neat blend...but has yet to be well adapted into the MMA world

I love Bas Rutten, he retired way too early. Yeah I love watching all of the MMA shows like PrideFC, UFC, Kings of the Cage, K1. Favorite fighter? Genki Sudo! No one makes an entrance like him and no one fights like him. He retired early as well due to neck injuries. Just youtube some of his entrances. Crazy!
