I tell you what, I'm super impressed with this Bogen / Manfrotto tripod. I pulled it out of the box and was like holy sh*t this is a real tripod. I'm not sure what else is out there since I'm new to photography, but the build quality was unbelievable on this thing. Even has a level on it. The quick release feature is very nice too I noticed.
You're right Mike, this is addicting lol. Here are two shots I took tonight of Jess's cats: Muffin:  Pumpkin:  Looking forward to getting my D-SLR books in to learn more. Both of these were shot in Full Auto mode and were not on my tripod. George
