Anybody know where I can get one for my car? I dont want to buy a harness bar if I dont have to...

I dont wanna flame, but this sounds pretty dumb man. Unless your autocrossing or planning on going to the glen you dont need a camera mounted in your car.

showmotive is on a distinguished road

www.filmtools.com has some good suction cup mounts that you can mount pretty much anywhere on your car. I picked one up not too long ago and love it.

Yup!

They have a bunch of different ones. Thats the best place to buy one. I'm going to pick up one pretty soon. Either that or some bullet cameras from www.helmetcamera.com

I'm looking to mount a cannon xl-2... not a point and shoot, lol

maybe I'll just buy the bar and bolt it up for racing and take it out when I'm done...

Why would you even want to mount an xl2 inside the car? That camera is waaaay to big for that. There is only a few select reasons I would put that inside lol. You're better off getting a bullet camera and hooking it up to a cheap miniDV camera.

just get a midget to ride along with you. They can hop around from the front to the backseat with ease.... if you find yourself a smart one, then you will get some creative and artistic shots. Stay away from dwarfs, they have a mighty temper.
