Nope no lens hood on. I usually only get that when I used to use a cheap polarizer.

imo the "best" HDR is one that doesn't LOOK like "HDR" - aka one that merely uses the technique to produce a stunning image without the strange contrasty crap.

for example, the first shot, the girl's arm makes her look like a hairy ape because of what "HDR" has done to "add" information... I doubt she looks like that, and to be blunt, it isn't flattering.

nice 350z shot tho... 'course, I'm biased hehe

yeah I tend to agree, unless you're going for the extra effect which works very well in certain pics.
