More product advice

Since I got more money than expected for my b-day, I was looking at this printer instead of a tripod, or possibly both. Any thoughts on this printer? I've been looking at it for a while just haven't pulled the trigger yet due to the price. I want something that's capable of large, lab quality prints. Canon makes another printer with a max res of 9600x2400 where this one is only 4800x2400. And what the hell are picoliters? is 1 or 2 picoliters better?

i have the i9900 which is basically their older model of their wide format printer. They print great, and I've printed a lot of samples for people on that printer.

picoliters is how much ink can be dispensed in the smallest increments. Smaller is better in that part.

Definitely a nice printer. I'm not sure what I'll do when I need to upgrade photo printers. I think I want something wider than 13" for my next one.

Thanks mike, I'll mainly use it for prints I want. I very rearly print anything since I only have the free printer dell offered which is a piece of junk. Looks like I'll have to spring for it ..... and maybe the tripod...... and an external hard drive 500 gig should do it. Anyway, thanks for the help.
