Just because they're white doesn't mean they're Canon. Nikon professional series long lenses are also coated white to cut down on the heat.

Also, Mike, have you ever used a D200? After using a D100 (not terrible controls), I've really come to appreciate how well the D200 is set up for controls. I haven't liked the feel or layout of the lower end Canons.

I've used Christian's camera... I think thats a D200. I forget. I've used a 10D, 20D and my 5D from the canon line up

I think the controls are easier to use on my canon. I've shot with WhtRice's Nikon, and it was a pain for some things.

you think the canon controls are easier I think the nikon controls are easier. I couldnt even figure out how to change the settings on the canon I picked up and looked at at best buy the other day.
