yea my ears were ringing pretty good up to yesterday, I always bring ear protection but for some stupid reason I forgot.

those .22's were fun to shoot though.

we were just plinking cans and other random items on that day.


how ever thanks to mike letting me know about a pretty darn good deal at dicks, I went and picked up a Remington 597 heavy barrel combo, as we had so much fun shooting .22s. Anyway Christian and I shot a bit wed night and @ 45 yards it was putting out 1"-2" groups free standing and not even broke in. I pretty stoked how well it shot. I will also be shooting it this weekend with a bench to see just what it can do even though it is still not broke in.

I had forgot just how much fun rimfire is. I will be picking up a 17HMR in the next few months to go with my 22mag and 22lr's that I have.

we need to start a rim fire league.

the 22's were too much fun, i couldnt load them fast enough. That sentra rim has some nice holes in it

at the price of ammo right now rimfire is about all we can afford. I averaged shooting ~$250 per month worth of ammo over part of the winter. That's only 200-300 rounds of pistol ammo per week. need to start reloading.
