Elliots MR2 off road...
OK, well for those of you who don't know yet, today when leaving Lake Placid, Elliot drove his car with Murray as a passenger and myself and Drew were in Jim's SRT-4, we took some back roads for a nice ride and on one of the turns Elliots steering came off, and I don't mean he took it off himself, apparently some of the screws in the hub backed out, so what happened was his went straight through the turn and off the road into the brush, fortunately nobody was hurt, minus the 8,000,000 bug bites we got waiting for someone to show up (because of course we had no phone service there) Thanks to Elliots quick thinking of hitting the brakes and grabbing the hub he saved his car from going down the hill off road into a tree and possibly totalling his car, only damage done was the front lip is busted up....Someone who drove by apparently called the police and said there was a serious accident (blood & guts) because 2 volunteer firefighters showed up, then 2 firetrucks, 1 ambulance and a state trooper.

I doubt they are even home yet. Glad you guys were ok, it could've been MUCH worse if they went down the embankment.
Of course more pictures coming.
