Do you think drifting is a motorsport?

Many people do not think that drifting is a real motorsport. What do you think?

Drifting is to motorsports as figure skating is to speed skating.
It's a sport becuase people compete. Beyond that, it's a judged contest.

i considered a motorsport anything that involves competition between other drivers and there skill of driving, i see it as boxing, if the driver overtakes the front driver then he win's plane and simple. if the driver's don't over take then it goes to the judges. Same thing goes on for boxing, if they don't K.O there opponent then the judges decide who's the winner
