2009 Rspeed meet (POLL INSIDE)

ok people we need you guys to vote on who's coming and who's going to be getting a room

please mark off the correct section

Meet is going to be for August 8th. if you can't make it please offer a day that would be better for you and if enough people want it changed we can look into it

So far the Beach is looking to be free. all we ask is you bring some food/drinks (burger/hotdogs/buns/soda/water BBQ stuff. please DO NOT BRING ANY ALCOHOL to the beach). Were figuring we will be at the beach from NOON till about 6ish

We will be going from the Beach to Turning Stone Casino for dinner and a night of at there in house club and some fun on the tables (21 and older only please)If people would like to get rooms i found them for around 200 a night for a 2 queen bed room so 100 a couple/person, but we will try to get a group rate if enough poeple want to stay over


We will most likely have games at the beach, maybe a few giveaways and most deffenitly a water balloon fight again!

i would love to go to the casino but i'll probably have to work since its saturday and i can never get friday or saturday off.. but i'll probably be at the beach for a lil while

FYI since verona beach is a state park, it will cost like 8 bucks to get in, whatever the standard state park fee is.

Also if we pool some money we could rent a pavillion, or just group together and pull tables together.

i'm calling them this weekend about details for group gatherings.. it seems they have very large open parking lots which seem car friendly

Yea parking in a group is no problem at all. It's usually just finding an area where there is a bunch of tables grills free. Verona beach is good. Also Sylvan beach is like 2 miles away for anyone wanting to run down there and ride there mini roller coaster.

just got done talking to the state park.. we can get a spot reserved for us that can hold 60 people which should be plenty all you need to do is pay th $7 per car at the front gate.. rspeed will cover the rental cost

I'd go but my friends bridal shower is that day (and I'm in the wedding so I don't have a choice). It's also my parents anniversary....

I looked into this a little more. The park doesn't even open until like may 13th, so we can't call and get more information. Does anyone know of any other places we could hold it and maybe do $5/person and donate to charity?
