well im not surprised about arrington...he hasnt done shit in the last few years on any team b/c he is injury prone so i think that was a good choice y have someone taking up a roster position when he keeps getting hurt...as for petitgout that came as a huge surprise to me.

Luke can't keep his big ass still. Holds a ton too.

Man, I wish we picked up the San Diego coach

haha the new GM Reese isnt playing around, this is how I look at it.

Emmons sucks
Arrington im not sure why they let him go he hasnt been there for a year yet, my best guess is that his injury isnt healing well.

I dont get letting Pettigout go, hes been there best lineman the last few years, he has really shown improvement over the last couple years, im really surprised they got rid of him.

wow.... I really don't get Pettigout.

I'm just hoping the new QB coach can get Eli going.

I don't really get Pettigout either as he was one of their better linemen. The only rationale could be his salary and his penalties but doesn't seem to be a good enough justification.

yeah and his penalties were way down last year before he gotu hurt, idk, this is the new GM, maybe hes just trying to make headlines idk, im confused. The Giants line has grown together very well over the last 5 years, i dont know why they would want to break it up.

They're all roster/salary cap moves. Arrington isn't healing well and is a lazy mother when it comes to rehab. He was the same when he was hurt in Washington, took him a decade to come back. Emmons and big Lou have high salaries and big Lou has had several injuries over his career and its tough to pay someone that much money when he's only working part time. Great moves for the G-Men IMO even though I'm not a big fan of theirs. I'm interested to see if they try to turn Jacobs into an every down back or bring someone else in.

yeah, what im hearing now is that they wanted pettigout to take a paycut and he wouldnt, As far as Jacobs goes i would love to see him as a full time back, there have been rumors over the last couple weeks of the giants being interested in Ahman Green

Ahman Green?!? And they though Tiki used to have problems holding onto the ball Plus he's been a HUGE injury liability throughout his career with both Seattle and GB. I'd be surprised if they signed him. I'd imagine they'd be more in the market for someone like Michael Turner who's available from SD.

I too am for BJ to be a full-time back. I read an article a few weeks ago and they predicted each teams 1st round pick. I know it's damn early for that, but they say the giants will be picking an RB in the 1st. either make the rookie a second back or pickup another less high-profile player.... no no to green

I think they should either sign Chris Brown or Michal Turner if there going to go that route, I think Jacobs would be fine as a starter IMO but they could use a better backup because Derrick Ward sucks. They better not draft a RB, seeing how they just got rid of two starting LBs and there best Tackle i would hope they would be looking in that direction.
