NFL Trade...Makes me happy!

Lions unload Dre Bly and his HUGE salary to Denver for Tatam Bell, George Foster, and a draft pick. Great news for the few Lions fans that still exist since Matt Millen has started running the franchise into the ground. We can now be aggressive in free agency and pickup a nice 3rd down back who has big play speed. Should be a good compliment to Kevin Jones (provided he gets healthy). Foster, though he was weak in Denver with the zone blocking...is a big strong guy who should do MUCH better in Detroit's west coast style offense where he can straight up pass/run block and not have to worry about running around to cover a zone. The pick obviously is nice too...but overall I think Detroit did a great job with this trade. Obviously Denver is happy to have Bly who is one of the games better CB's...but now they're sunk as far as cap room goes and lost a draft pick. Losing Foster and Bell don't really effect the team IMO. GO LIONS!
