Joe Montana was my idol while growing up and playing football so the number one has to be Joe. I think it's hard to tell where Peyton is going to end up on this list of players because he still has alot of good years left... but i'd put good money on him being in the top 5 for sure. The guy manages the game and has more control over his offense like no one i've ever seen.

Yeah Payton is going to be top 3 when its all said and done i think, Flutie was on the patriots a couple years a go, i dont think he was last year, ithink there qbs last year were brady, testaverde, cassel

no love for fran tarkenton, joe namath, phil simms, boomer esiason? warren moon has been mentioned but hes totalled more total yards than just about anyone between the cfl and nfl. cant forget the magic of doug flutie either. ALL of these quarterbacks were amongst the elite in the league.. maybe not top 10 but worth honorable mention.

tarkenton is on my list, Joe Namath is not top 10, phil simms and boomer esiason are top 50 IMO, Doug Flutie was a career backup in the nfl and only started when someone got hurt, all his success was in the CFL, his magic was in BC but this isnt a college list.
