50 is a bargain for a good starting pitcher these days. Yanks shoulda offered 60 considering how their rotation is looking so far this year

I am not thrilled with their Jap pitcher. He looks terrible and throws the ball up in the zone. Real hitters will destroy that and they have.

It's crazy to get a good pitcher these days. I believe the #s for the Salary don't include that $50MIL either.

well maybe, but they didntpay 50 million for him, they paid 50 million just for the rights to talk to him, for what there paying he better be at least a better than average pitcher

yupp 50 million to get the negotiation rights from japan and over 50 more for 7 years(i think) on the contract
