I dont understand Kevin Gilbride sometimes. The fuckin wind has been alowing 25-30 mph the whole game and Eli has thrown 46 times with 5 min to go in the game. This is stupid.

My thoughts:
1) Jacobs actually didn't fumble. Shocker
2) Horrible play calling. They made most of the gains with runs so why go to the air?
3) Manning played the worst I have ever seen. Inconsistant wasn't even the word. He just played horrible. Words cannot describe how bad.
4) Terrible defense. Seriously. Shotgun with a back in pro form. There's a draw possibilty right? How many times in a row can you get burned on it?
5) Can Jacobs catch? I mean, really? Underhand? How about 5 feet underhand? Horrible.
6) Shockey is out? Ouch
I am ashamed to be a Giants fan to take such a beating and do nothing about it. With that play and injuries, I'd be surprised if they make it out of the first round IF they get there. Sigh.

Yeah I mean, they have alot of injuries to begin with. For starters lets remember Kiwanuka, Wilson, Butler, Ward, and now Shockey are all starters and are out. I cant believe how many passes that Jacobs dropped. The wide open pass that Toomer dropped was awful, that probably would have been a TD. Shockey being out hurts quite a bit. I guess he has a pretty bad injury that will require surgery this week to stabilize his ankle. Eli was just so bad. I mean I know the wind is blowing, they were basically within 10 -12 pts the whole game, I just dont understand the play calling, they dont throw that many times in good weather, why do it when the wind is blowing 30 mph? I dont get it. Im starting to see why Gilbride has been bounced around the NFL though. I think that he is a big contributor to Elis problems. The kids had a new offensive coordinator every year he has started.

Eli's incompletions were faulted alot by Jacobs, Toomer (God God, I could have ran that in), etc.. But, he was just all over the place. Throwing behind receivers, at their feet, pussy in the pocket, etc.. It doesn't help when we are throwing 51 times in the wind. That's retarded. It's just bad all around.

I would be getting nervous if I were you Giants fans right now....the past few weeks they have not played well at all. What looked like a shoe in for the playoffs may not end up being that way especially with Shockey out for the rest of the year.

there going to make the playoffs, thats not good enough anymore though. The bears win tonight and the Giants are in. There are REALLY good chance they could lose out and still make it in. Thats not good enough, if they dont at least win a game this year Coughlin needs to go. This is coming from a Coughlin fan.

So when the team wins its because of Eli, but when the team loses its cause of Coughlin?
Just curious.

I don't know how much of a "shoe in" anything was. It's the NFL, it normally comes down the that last few games of the season for wide card teams. Thats what makes it exciting. This year is no different that the last two.

No but you cant keep a coach who cant win a playoff game. If you saw my 4 posts about last nights game i put alot of it on Eli. You cant keep a coach who makes the playoffs 3 years in a row and doesnt win a game. No, its not his fault but we all know thats how the NFL works if you cant admit that i dont know what league your watching. Also IMO the problem with this offense is just about all Gilbrides fault. He controls the offense. Someone has to take the blame for this happening 3 years in a row. Whether people like Eli or not, its not going to be him.

I used that phrase because all the Giants fans say how Eli gets the Giants to the playoffs every year and I am pretty sure I have seen every one of you guys say at least once they were gonna be there again this year.
I just think it would be ironic if they did not make it. At least they didn't lose to Miami.

But you guys seem quick to give Eli the praise when "he" gets them to the playoffs. Thats all I am saying.
