injuries in sports are just another dimension that sets teams apart from each other. They are unfortunate but they are EXPECTED. Whenever you get some really strong guys crashing into in each other as fast as they can people are bound to be hurt. With that said, athletes, particularly athletes in high contact sports are obligated to condition and train their bodies to take the kind of punishment they KNOW is going to be inflicted on their bodies. Teams with more injuries are teams that havent trained hard enough to prevent them, or, or just extremely unlucky. When certain players on the yankees this past year started pulling hamstrings like milk out of the fridge, Steinbrenner fires the strength coordinator because he wasn't do his JOB. If you look at injuries as they are, which in football would be the equivalent of showing up to a construction site without a hat on, it becomes a matter of preparation. Yes Mr. Favre is old, but as we've seen, age is something good 'ol Brett seems to defy. My point is, if a team is experiencing a lot of injuries they aren't getting the job done off the field to prevent it thus proving they're inferiority more. End philosophy here
And whats the problem in comparing Favre to Glenn? Both are potent offensive weapons, so if one isnt in the game it could effect the outcome? Well yes I guess it could. No argument there. But if a team, particularly in football relies so heavily on one player to perform to achieve victory then that team is no team at all. It is a single dimension force that probably wouldnt go 10-1. In order to go 10-1 this season prior to the Packers playing the Cowboys, they need to find other ways to win then simply relying on one man. LeBron James is a perfect example. Led his team to the finals, which probably shouldnt have happened anyway, and they got they're ass kicked because the spurs just stopped him. Teams can't win that way and they definately can't rely on one person to get the job done. It has a lot to do with the supporting cast. Tom Brady has 15,000 receivers he can toss a football too, not just Randy Moss. So even if you do shut him down he's got other options. Terry Glenn is a great receiver and a threat but if he can't play you gotta have backup plans. If Favre gets hurt, likewise, you need a backup plan. Thing is, Packers are not one dimensional. Just because Favre got hurt doesn't mean the game is automatically lost and they should have some sort of rematch because it unfair, lol. No, ridiculous, god damn ridiculous thing to say. It's not an excuse for a loss and there's no point in speculating the gay What ifs. Now if the entire offensive line got shot and killed thats a big problem, but one man? Yes he's a playmaker and a great quarterback but football requires the teamwork of a lot of people. What is Favre didnt get hurt is a dumb thing to ask, and irrelevant. Teams need to find other ways to win in the face of adversity and not doing so is a good way of separating winners from champions.
No one cares about you Giants fans chiming in. Your upset because your team sucks and your gay and you need to validate your existence in the meaningless Giants season because the Cowboys are the real deal and an ass ton better than 'em. Sucks rooting for losers but bitter people suck more. bitter people who are pompous are even worse. And when you ad denial, man! what a mess!

Im not making nay excuses, theres no need to. In the end they get it done. It think as they are getting these guys back and more healthy your gonna see them get better. They are already getting better. Come playoff time it may be a new scenario and I hope to god they do meet the patriots in the super bowl

Right, Ive been on local Albany Forums for about 5 years now. This is the first Cowboys thread ive ever seen on any of the Forums. You frontrunners only come out when your team is winning and stay in hiding when there not. Enjoy it while you can because im sure theyll be back in the basement in no time. We could just as easily taken the easy way out and have no knowledge of sports like you guys and just pick a team thats winning, but thats way to easy. Enjoy it while it lasts, just remember in the last 10 years the Giants went to a Super Bowl and lost, and thats exactly what Dallas is going to do this year. Im not impressed. Its not the 90s anymore bucko so stop acting like your team is light years better than everyone else because there not. Thats where the Patriots are now and your a second tier team.

Just like that and these petty arguments its sports. just a nother form of entertainment. u guys take this way to seriously really u act as if you are part of the team. rofl

Since you prolly have nothing better to do go research maybe a week 17 game prolyl around 91-93 range then maybe that was the game since u seem to care so much. I know u got the free time.
Had some free time it was January 2, 1993 (being in januray is why i tought it was a playoff game) Dallas wont 16-13 since sotry must not be true if cant pin it down exactly for Mr. Right over here.
