The reason there are more Giants threads is because we're in NY, dipshit. It doesn't mean Cowboys fans are hiding it just means there's fewer, which seems pretty obvious to me and probably everyone else who has 3 brains cells to form a thought pattern. And would ya stop hatin' on the Cowboys for crying out loud. Everyone knows you hate them and don't appreciate any of their wins or respect anything about them or their fans regardless of how much they dominate the NFC, so why rant? We KNOW you're not impressed. Get another Giants tattoo, ease the pain, and we'll see you next season because they suck and Dallas is better. And they are gonna continue to be better for a long time. Not as good as the Pats, but still damn good....

Actually ive given Dallas alot of credit, just not you frontrunners. Sorry.
Also, yeah Dallas is so great. lets see them win a super bowl here before we talk please. Everyone wants to bitch about NY not winning a playoff game, lets see Dallas win one. Until they do theres not much difference between Dallas and NY over the last 10 years. Id give the edge to the Giants over the last 10 years because theyve been to theplayoffs more and at least went to a super bowl. Its nice to see you all come out of hiding though. Thank Jerry Jones or you guys wouldnt even be into football this year. Hows it feel to be back?

... comparing a top notch QB to a #2 WR is retarded, but I wouldn't expect any else coming from one of you c'boys fans.
We are not hating on the boys... they are obviously the best team in the NFC. It's the fans we have an issue with.

Actually Steve made his stupid "Cowboys FTMFW" comment in another teams thread and I split it and created this thread....

I cannot believe you even have to explain this.
Favre: HOF, QB, most important player on that team, leader, the other QB is a sub-50 rating guy that sits the bench, etc..
Glenn: Non-HOF, WR, not the most important player, not the leader, the other WR is arguably the best WR in the league.
Before the Dallas fanbois get their panties in a bunch, I have admitted they were better for several weeks. They really are. However, I am going to point out the things they fail to say: Buffalo SHOULD have beaten them, Green Bay with a backup QB hanged with them until the end, etc...

i didnt make the claim Terry Glenn is the most important player on the field so no one has to explain anything. I was trying to make a claim at the importance of every player on the field. Terry Glenn is a very good wide reciever and Brett Favre is a great quarterback but they have to work in unison. I tried to explain myself thoroughly but its seems all you guys extracted from my post is that Brett Favre is better than Terry Glenn at life...
That simple fact that the backup quarterback hung with the best team in the NFC shows how strong the entire team is and their lack of dependence of Favre's "greatness". What is really the impact of losing a star player if everyone works together? The quarterback is the most vocal leader on offense and his importance is not questionable but what about the offensive line? Without an offensive line a quarterback cant do shit. I argue the O-line is the greatest part of any offense, not the QB.
You're hating on the fans because why? You think we only come out when they win? I've been a fan since i was 8, you dont know me, I wont defend myself and I could care less if you have a problem with me over my favorite sports team so dont bother talking...I can say whatever I want, so can Steve, and whatever other Cowboys' fan is reading this. No one really cares if you have a problem with us.

O-line is 5 people, Qb is 1 person.
The team can perform well with 1 of those 5 O-liners sucking it up, since he would be supported by the rest of the line. The QB is one guy, he has no one to help him out. If he fucks up, it's his ass and there is no one else to blame. If a O-liner misses a block then quite often there will be a HB/FB there to assist or pick it up. And very often the O-liners will double team defenders... don't see this kind of help for any QB, EVER. HUGE difference. We are all entitled to our own opinion, but I strongly disagree.
I'll hate on you cause your actions. Us Giants fans have been pretty civil throughout this whole discussion. We haven't been the one that resorts to name calling and childish remarks. Grow up.

It's like almost a rule to put your best athlete at QB in high school. They do that for a reason...

grow up lol...anyways...lets address some things here
First shawn, no, your wrong. I played high school football all four years and that just might be the most ridiculous thing you've ever said not to mention the fact you are comparing high school position selection to professional sports recruitment .
Second, if there's a weakpoint in an offensive line defensive coordinators pick it up in about ohhhh .02 seconds (because thats their job!) and overload or blitz that side to exploit the weakest link. How can you assume a HB/TB is going to pick up the slack a poor offensive lineman creates? Maybe if a formation calls for it like the I, Proset. But what about shotgun formations with no back at all? There's just too many situations and formations where O-linemen can't rely on the rest of the line or runningbacks to compensate for their poor play. If there is one weak man on that line he's gonna get ran over, around, blitz at, all day long. The team won't perform well because they've lost the running game to that side, have more pressure coming from that side, and have to make up for that single man's poor play by sacrificing another offensive lineman to help double team. Teams with bad offensive linemen simply don't have the offensive production that teams with good Olines have. Furthermore, how can you say a QB has no one to help him out?! Offensive coordinators call all the plays, accept for audible siutations, the O line BLOCKS for him as well as the runningbacks in certain cases, and wide recievers CATCH the balls he throws! What the hell are you talking about! he gets the most help out of anyone on the field!!!! lmao!
