A 3rd Grader. Brady is better than Romo, statisticaly and every other way you can compare them. The fact that you would take Jones or Barber over Maroney is hilarious, His last season which was his rookie season was better than any season barber or jones have had. Lets not forget that his backup, Sammy Morris who is playing because Maroney is hurt is out rushing both jones and barber. WR is no comparison either. Moss is much better than Owens and always has been. Welker and Stallworth are also very good. TE wise yes Witten is better statistically so I will give them that edge. The OL IMO are about even. Im glad that you think Demarcus Ware is a better DE than anyone on the Patriots, the problem with that is that Demarcus Ware is a fuckin linebacker, some cowboy fan, you would think you would know there DE are Chris Canty and Marcus Spears but I can see your a typical Cowboy fan with a fresh seat on the bandwagon. Greean and Warren are very good DE that stop the run like nothing. at DT, lets not even get into that, if your going to say Ratliff is better than Wilfork, well then your the 3rd grader. Ok now we have the LB,

Anthony Spencer
Bradie James
Akin Ayodele
Demarcus Ware

vs.

Mike Vrabel
Teddy Bruschi
Adalius Thomas
Roosevelt Colvin

well, Demarcus Ware is better than Colvin thats about it. Lets not forget NE has future hall of famer Junior Seau, and former pro bowler Chad Brown at backup, Dallas has who? Another obvious win for NE.

CB
Terrance Newman
Anthony Henry
Jacque Reeves

vs.

Ashante Samuel
Rudy Gay
Ellis Hobbs

Once again a obvious edge to NE, Hell, last year Samuel had more INT than all the Dalls Corners put together.

Safeties

Rodney Harrison is hurt but I will give Dallas this edge because of Ken Hamlin who is pretty good. Roy William is a hard hitter but he cant cover for shit.

Kickers......who gives a shit about kickers, they wont matter in this game.

ok im done. so basically Dallas has 2 better positions. WOW, lets crown them now. You can look at the stats all you want to , you wont find an edge there, except for the little bit more passing yds that Romo has, but brady is 15% better completion pct, has 3 more TD and 6 less INT.

+1 agree with Walt...Adelius Thomas may be the best LB in the NFL.

well you know what man, thats the only way to compare players. Or else wed just sit here and say well hes better, no hes not. To you stats might suck but to the All Pro teams and the Hall of fame they dont.

They don't tell the entire story. Take a look at the Jet's QB and his passer rating or Dallas's record... I understand the use for comparison but stats and understanding of the game is what seperates fans.

DeMarcus Ware drops back into a linebacker in only certain formations, his position he plays most of the time is DE, he is a versatile player. I didnt say anything about their linebackers, or Tom Brady, or their recievers, because I know they're better...sooo...simmer down, it'll be ok. And I would pick Marion Barber because I like him more, hes an explosive playmaker for the cowboys.

i was just trying to say you sound like a retard when you say every single player on the patriots is better than every player on the cowboys. Im not taking anything away from the Patriots, I AGREE that they are a better team but blanket statements hurt feelings

well i have both so im not worried about that, i played the game and im a big fan, so i know stats. If you dont thats fine but dont try to act like im an idiot who gets all my knowledge form sportscenter. Everyone knows that passer rating is the worst stat to go by. Wanna know what makes a QB good? look at completion percentage, TD/int ratio and that usually tells the tale. When im comparing two players stats is the best way to go, unless you know of a better way. Dallas 5-0 record is not misleading, they should be 5-0 they played 5 piss poor teams, and they won. Just because you say winning with a onside kick isnt a win doesnt mean it isnt because, they are 5-0

And out of 32 Qb Chad Pennington is #20 in QB Rating. That isnt that misleading....

I sound like a retard because i made statement that is true? I was aying it because its true, im not a Pats fan so i wasnt saying it being a unrealistic fan, honestly the only reason I want the Pats to win is so the Giants will gain a game on the Cowboys, if it was up to me there team planes would crash into each other in mid air lol

I didn't say anything bout your knowledge... Where did you get that? I just made a blanket statement about how people use stats. It wasn't directed towards you. I got nothing but love Walt.

As for Dallas, the 5-0 record is 5-0 but again, the stats don't show that they played piss poor teams. Hence, the comparisons in this thread with them in the same leage as Pats/Indy which they are not.

Chad P had the #2 best completion rating (70%+. I forgot the exact #), yet his team has a losing record, he can't throw the ball down the field, and he is #20 out of #32? Teams down in the 4th quarter generally are allowed yards (D drops back a bit for the bigger plays) so Chad P's 1 yard dump pass should be easy to complete.

Teams success isn't measured on paper. If that was the case, USC would have hammered Stanford last weekend. Success is measured on the field. Dallas has been successful so far this year. But they haven't proven that they are a great team. They're a good team playing good enough to win games. New England has proven over the years they are truly an elite team in the NFL. This is a measuring stick game for Dallas, everyone knows the Patriots are great. Nobody knows how good this Cowboys team is yet, or which one will show up. Let the game do the talking, gents.

Exactly my poin. Stats do not tell the entire story.
