I like what big Roger was saying that if his findings are in line with the accusations that they will be stripped of ALL 2008 draft picks. No draft picks=very bad for a team. Both in development and continuation of success and as trade propaganda. But the McLaren punishment is stiff also. LOL!

Yeah, I think the Pats should get a stiff penalty so this doesnt happen again. Also i tihnk that this will bring on defensive headsets for playcalling. I honestly think they sohuld have to forfiet the game. Not that it would have mattered either way but I think that would be a good penalty. Also taking draft picks would be a very fair penalty

Unfortunately they won't forfeit the game because it can't be proved that the signal taping effected the result, though it could be argued.

I really hope they get docked ALL of their 08 draft picks. That's really the worst case scenario for them in my mind.

Yea, at this point, I think that taking away all 08 draft picks will be the harshest penalty and most fitting. The sad thing is, that even without any draft picks next year, the Pats will be a great team for some time to come.

That is what I don't understand either. They are an extremely stacked team this year. Moss caught for almost 200 yards on a day that he wasn't even sure if he was gonna play, not to mention he did not play at all in the preseason.

Haha yea, I was kinda pissed the Raiders got rid of him, but he wasn't happy and didn't have a great year. I just wish he could have stuck it out another year because all 3 of their QB's this year are better than anyone they played last year. (That includes Russell who has never played an NFL game, Andrew Walter sucked)

Again, I disagree. The Patriots are not built for years to come. They are built for this year. They have one of the oldest teams in football. Brady/Maroney/Watson are really the only 3 on offense that have a lot of years left. Stallworth is hurt all the time, Moss is a pain in the ass for any franchise and as he ages his height becomes less of a factor, and the defense is old and gray aside from Samuel (wants out) and Thomas who they stole. If they don't win this year, it's going to suck for Pats fans. The only thing they have going for them is that Billy B is a great coach, and they have veterans who are willing to continually restructure their contracts in order to make room for more talent. I.E. Tom Brady taking a huge pay cut to bring in Moss/Stallworth...Moss making next to nothing to play for the Pats to win a title cause he knows he's almost done in the NFL.

They made it far in the playoffs last year with Doug Gabriel, Jabar Gaffney and Reche Caldwell at WR. As long as they have Brady and the Defensive Scheme they use they wiull win. They can plug guys in, theyve been doing it for years. They used guys in the playoffs last year that started that arent even on nfl rosters right now. There smart unlike most of the teams out there

Apparently just not smart enough to not get caught cheating. If you are gonna spy on the other team, AT LEAST put someone in the stands not on the sidelines.
