I read that story yesterday. Dana White is such a punk. How do you not pay the embassador and face of the UFC the money he's rightfully entitled. So annoying. Ugh.

from what I read, money wasn't the issue. couture wanted to fight fedor and when fedor signed with M1, he knew that fight wouldn't happen so he quit.

The Fedor fight was part of it. But Fedor left the UFC because Gabriel Gonzaga was fighting Randy Coutoure and he was not. Fedor went back home to Russia where M1 actually pays fighters quite well. Coutoure was pissed about Fedor now, but for the longest he's complained about not being one of the top 10 paid fighters in the UFC. Which I feel he had a legitimate complaint with as he carried the UFC on his back for years. He is truly an MMA legend.

It was actually on MMAWeekly.com not that long ago. Chuck Liddell is by far and away the highest paid UFC figher. The rest of the list was pretty much a "who's who" in the UFC...was pissed that Coutoure was not on the list. He deserves better.

I believe Randy Coutoure over Dana White. Dana White has proven to be a bit of a scum bag who, as of late, seems more concerned with getting himself on TV rather than promoting the latest big events and taking care of his fighters. He's all about Dana instead of all about the UFC. I think he fails to realize...the more money the UFC makes the more money he'll make. He's kinda got it backwards IMO. But he's there and I'm here, so maybe I'm the one who's backwards.
