I think some can but will never get the chance due to DIII and their physical attributes not matching up. There are a few in NFL though.
I didn't say they WERE NFL material. I said Mt Union would destroy several DI teams. That's all.

Not sure. They are the most dominating sports team since 1990. Might have to do with NCAA not allowing them.

hmm funny, why wont they allow them? most dominating sports team because they dont have any competition, i dont see why they wouldnt move up like most teams do. Im sure there some dominant High School teams out there that have won for a few years in a row because of no competition

One of the reasons is the financial burden that would come with the move ( D3football.com: Mount Union is where it belongs). It's definately not cheap especially for a small school. No competition? There's more in schools in DIII and any other division. I don't think you realize how dominate this team has been been over the last several years. Go look them up. They have not blown out teams but just embarressed teams year after year. They had like a 50+ game win streak at one point and that's playing a tough as schedule.
I know there is a difference in talent. I have been on the field at DI, DII, and DIII. I have personally PLAYED against DI and DII. Just stating there are DIII players that can go NFL and some that can definately go DI. Mt. Union would also beat SEVERAL teams in DI. But, you are right, there IS a difference.

I think they only have 2200 students. Rutgers is trying to be more dominate and they need to spend a TON of money to attract students. No DI kid is going to want to play in a stadium that supports 5000.
Yea, I wonder if they can easily just tell NCAA that they want to move up. If they do, they need equiv women's sports at that level too. I am sure it's not that easy to do but I wonder why not move up? Maybe they like kicking ass?
