thats a legal play in the NFL as well. the only problem is that the line is drilled that once the ball comes out from center and no wistle is blown you kill the ball carrier
As soon as anyone on the scrimmage moves, the defending line is supposed to rush, no matter what. I thought they taught you on the first day to rush until the whistle is blown. Why the hell they didn't is beyond me, I bet they all got chewed out for that. Good play. I'm willing to bet there were a lot of unnecessary-roughness penalties after that play though...
yeah, it was legal, kind of dirty hough on the pop warner level i guess. I remember like 6 or 7 years ago Peyton Manning did a play similar to this, I think they called it back though
