U of Michigan plans to announce next head coach...
ESPN - Source: Michigan to make Miles announcement next week - College Football
As predicted. Can...not...WAIT! Another great decendant from the storied Michigan football program. Played football for Bo, coached with Bo, and has shown to be VERY successful in college. Going to be a great continuation of our storied university. GO BLUE!

I don't think it's a "false report" at all. He did the same thing at Oklahoma State before he left for LSU. He is simply using the old "smoke screen" so the players focus on football and not their coach's job situation. Michigan is possibly the most premier and prestegious job in all of college football, and Miles dream job as he is a Michigan man. I don't think he will pass up the opportunity of a lifetime.

ESPN - Rodriguez leaving West Virginia to coach Michigan - College Football
Thank you, West Virginia. First John Belin to head up our basketball program...and now we got R^2. Should be a fun, new look offense in Michigan. So much for the line up and run at them Big10 football I grew up loving. Can't wait to see how this shakes out!
