First blockbuster trade of baseball season...DEEETROIT!
ESPN - Tigers send top prospects to Marlins for Cabrera, Willis - MLB
The Tigers gave up a TON of young talent...but anytime you can add 2 all-stars to your roster you can't pass it up. SO excited! These guys played for Leyland and Dombrowski when the Marlins won the Series...so they're already VERY excited about being a part of their system. TIGERS WORLD SERIES CHAMPS IN 08!

Yeah, Cabrera is freakin awesome, he just needs to be a little more discipline with his weight and his attitude. I love Dontrolle Willis and always have. If the Red Sox get Santana they are going to have an amazing team.

Won't be a dream...in the World Series in 06, had a solid 07 season despite battling injuries all year long...now have probably the best batting order from top to bottom in all of baseball and another proven left handed starter who can pitch a lot of innings. Take your Red Sox off and pin a Tiger tail on that ass my friend!
PS - the Red Sox will not sell out all their young talent for Johan Santana. The Twins want too much for him.

absolute steal for the Tigers. They gave up 2 Legitimate prospects in order to bring in the 2nd best hitting 3rd basemen in all of baseball and a potentially dominant lefty. The Marlins are a joke. Their payroll wont break 10 million this year.....
