Shockey Traded to the Saints

Giants trade disgruntled Shockey to Saints - NFL - MSNBC.com

thoughts?

I am a big fan of Shockey and would like to see him stay, but he wasn't needed throughout the playoffs or to win the superbowl so losing him now isn't that big of a deal. I just hope Boss can step it up OR they get some really nice draft picks next year. I'm extremely glad that he wasn't traded to an NFC east rival.

he was pretty much running the offense over eli, seeming him leave isn't making me lose any sleep

Solid player but seemed to enjoy his face on the tv screens more then making great plays. Safe trade for the Giants.

I am thrilled to see him leave the Giants...less drama, that and he spends way to much time injured and is a big chunk of the Giants payroll...and I honestly think Boss will turn out to be a damn good TE.

Just wish they made the trade before the draft so they could have had those picks this year.

Im glad hes gone, he didnt want to be a giants anymore. I wont miss his shit thats for sure
