NEED a little help.
Elliot bought me springs and struts for the srt4 to drop it 2 inches. And he and a friend installed it. I drove my car today (its completely gutted) and i hear this awful noise coming from the rear right strut. It sounds like the strut is going to come crashing through the wheel well?? this only happenes when i hit a little bump. Also theres a clicking noise when im backing up or easing forward at a very low speed? Any suggestions?

I noticed the click going over the little bump in and out of the shop daily. It's got a metal on metal sound to it, almost like the spring isnt sitting correctly, but I dont know my asshole from my elbow when it comes to suspension. Someone help her, damn it.

i'll take a look at it for ya when you get it back.. it's prolly spring creek.. it happens sometimes.. mostly if the spring is in upside down.. also like i told you before you prolly should of done new top mounts for the sturts to make sure they don't squeak or bind
i'll take a look for ya tho see if it's something simple

sounds like strut mounts to me... check all the bolts and make sure they're tight too.

there is definately a click in the rear pass side... I hear it every morning when I pull the car out of the shop. I'm the one that informed her of it.

it prolly isnt new, its prolly been like that just couldnt hear it, but now that the whole interior is gutted you can hear road noise.?

ash if it's still over at east coast i'll swing by and take a look at it.. but i trust elliot but it together right.. might be your strut mount..
