Fcuked my ish up
ad a little incident on the way to work this morning...
I was following a dump truck on the way to work this morning... I reached down to grab the remote for my deck that was not in it's usual place, so I took my eyes off the road for less then a second. I look up and a MASSIVE chunk of dirt and asphalt (mostly asphalt) fell right in front of my car! I swirved hard to the right but the rear tire still hit it. I shit you not, the drivers side of my car was about a foot off the ground. I blew the belt apart on the sidewall of the rear tire and hav ea big bubble. No wheel damage.
However, and this is why I'm posting it in here, my camber is majorly fucked. The top of the wheel is pushed in a good inch more than it should be, and my suspension is about 3/4 inch lower than it usually is. I think I blew out and bent the strut, but I'm not sure. I have a set of used struts to try out tomorrow. I pulled the wheel off and couldnt see anything bent. If I swap the strut tomorrow and the camber is still fucked... What else could it be?

I put a straight edge on them, seems ok... someon who knows what to look for needs to take a stab at this with me. I dont want to bring it to the dealer and have them tell me to fuck off, then bill me $400 for the mechanic to look at the car for 15 mins and chain smoke for 4 hours

No, I pulled over immediately, I thought I may have split my wheel right down the middle it hit so hard... I know where he was coming from though... I'm gonna swing in there tomorrow morning and flip out.

i totally agree, I'm going to the site tomorrow... hopefully they are still working there... It looks like they ripped up a driveway to have it re-done from scratch but it looked clear of asphalt and thre was nobody there on my way home from work.
