The Mustang deal isnt working out so I guess its time to play with the civic. I'm painting the front and ordered a rear oem style lip and no I need to give it a bit of a drop. I don't want this as low as my acura so I'm set on the Tein H.Techs. Can anyone recommend a good shock to go with those? I don't care for Tokicos and dont really wanna drop the cash on Koni yellows. I'm also looking at the SPC forged control arms with adjustable ball joints. Anyone here use any of SPCs stuff? its a bit pricey but seems well built.
Koni SAs (yellows) are junk too. I'm still on them.
If it's a street car, any sport shock will do as long as it's valved to run at the correct height. You wont be able to notice a difference between the pricey options and the cheap ones. Get an alignment afterwards too.
to be up front, they are a sponsor of mine. But theyre are also amazing suspension peices, all the top honda drivers in NASA are driving on them. Also, their customer service is 2nd to none.
I did look at the pic stuff. That was another option I forgot to mention. I might just end up going with the tein basic damper or maybe the ss. Gotta check the $ status.
em1.. Prolly wont be lowering it for another month. I want to get the front bumper sprayed first and find some wheels. black car + losts of traveling = shit.
