Question Will RS6 brakes fit on my A6?

I am trying to find out if a set of 03 RS6 front brakes will mount up on my 03 A6 2.7T. The person selling it told me that they seem like they will bolt up to my car because the bolt pattern is the same. We dont know if the offset is the same and will I need to get new caliper mounting brackets machined. Can somebody help?

JVG Motorsports is on a distinguished road

99% They should bolt up but the hub question is will those nice 19" BBS wheels u have still fit and you may also need the larger rotor from the RS6 as well which im assuming would be included with the calipers and stuff maybe?

heres the item number on ebay 330195909511
they got rotors. i think my wheels can take those, the RS6 wheels stock might be 18, so i dont know about the OEM BBS wheel fitment. If for some reason they wont fit, ill have to sell or trade em for diff winter wheels. but i gotta know for sure if the brakes fit right up, i dont want to modify that part of the car

what is the offset of a stock rs6 wheels? what is the offset your your current wheels?

wouldn't it be better to ask this Q on an audi board? I'm sure someone has done this already.

heres what i found about the wheels here http://www.audiworld.com/model/rs6/03/03rs6.pdf
theyre 18s, tirerack also shows a 2nd option for 19s, but im thinking i may need to trade my OEMs for 18s to get the calipers to clear

jvg mentioned that you have19 inch BBS wheels.... but then you talk about getting new 18s to fit these calipers. I'm lost. What size are your wheels?

OEM wheels are BBS RC 17inch, this is winter wheels now.
Summer wheels(currently still on the car with summer tires) BBS LM 19s.
From what I can tell the 19s will take the RS6 brakes. Theres PLENTY of room between the rim and the caliper and the spokes are far enough from the hub to fit wider calipers, like the RS6 ones. What i was saying that i'd have to get 18s or OEM 19s(which i think i have a 50% off coupon for) for winter to use with some winter tires
