Well, you are more likely to crack if you buy any manifold/turbo from China.

I totally agree, I have seen manifolds from every top manufacturer in our business have at least a hair line crack at one time or another. We have had a good sucess rate/longevity rate, but I am not saying i haven't nor won't have a manifold come back. 90% of the failures i have seen have been around the wastegate and at the head flange weld, thats were the most weight and fatigue occur. In addition I have learned what designs are more suseptible to cracking than others, in the past year we have used certain remedies to help against cracking in these areas and have been very sucessful.

Again, Adam I appreciate your input, I am going to take some test pieces and see whats causing the problem.

This right here is what I am looking in a forumn, tech, not bullshit, but people helping eachother out in order to make a faster, cleaner, or better setup/part.

99% of the time I just keep my mouth shut in favor of less "attention" on my part. I don't need people talking shit about/to me because I corrected a post....irregardless if I'm 110% correct. False advertisement, whether intentional or not, rubs me the wrong way and always needs attention. Even so, I do my best to keep the post on topic and informational without going off on too far of a tangent. Welding and building motors.....it's what I do, you know.

I got lots of tech wiz in this head, most of it is garble to most though

Mike, I could post in the how-to section if you'd like. This week, how to properly rebuild a 3.0L 930 Turbo engine to 3.4L. I could tone it down a bit and tell ya how to build a tube-frame chassis jig....'cause I'm going to be doing that very soon for my car
