Unhappy Issue with traction, HELP!

Please Help!

I have an issue with traction on wet surfaces and around turns. My issue being I dont' have traction...

I have an Audi A4 Quattro with a Torsen AWD system, I personaly think the diff fluid needs to be flushed and refilled, but I don't know any ideas?

Are all 4 tires spinning/losing traction? What condition are the tires? Being AWD doesn't gaurantee traction either. I would hope diff fluid being changed/refilled wouldn't cause this.

Same thing I was thinking, but didn't take the time to type it out.
Thanks

As far as the fluid being an issue I don't see how that would effect traction either.
What tires are they?
How are the rated in wet conditions?

This is very unusual. I spend my days with an Audi next to my desk and driving the Quattro's around in bad weather is a blast as you can do whatever you want with them and they never break traction. As everyone has been saying it sounds like an issue with the tires you decided to use. Servicing the diff. won't help traction, but it will prevent it from wearing out prematurely on you. Mechanical parts like lube

servicing the diff won't help traction? wtf r u a noob? low or bad diff fluid will cause your tires to rotate incorrectly which is belive to be the issue. people updrage diffs and internal components and use high grade diff fluid to get more traction and tire rotation control...

all tires spin out traction sux :-/ /me cries 130k on it and the diffs ahve never been services, i think i might have a problem

Not a noob sir. But even with the incorrect rotation it does NOT cause all 4 tires to lose traction. I've driven a car (my sisters 00 A4 1.8 Quattro) with low diff fluid down to the dealership I work at to get a service done for her. It can cause some squealing of the tires at higher speed turns (think of driving a truck in a circle with the diff locked) but if you're driving normally even in wet conditions you still get pleanty of grip. Keep the shrewd comments to yourself, there is no need for them on a public forum.

With that comment, I will say good luck.

i haven't done a ton of research on diffs, but I've done my share with the issues I had with the wrx, but... I believe a torsen diff uses gears, not viscous fluid to control traction, so changing the fluid, as Justin said, would only affect the longevity of the device.
