Is that argument even valid anymore? Around me, diesel is like 40-45 cents more per gallon. I didn't think that a diesel was that much more efficient.

Are the gas ones REALLY that bad? I would think 12 is a more realistic number, but I have never owned one.

Those big trucks suck huge dong as far as mpg, but unless you plan on towing stuff then they are a complete waste of money. I have a 5spd v6 dakota that gets 20mpg and it's perfect for me.

I completely agree. I am willing to bet most people that have trucks that big, could EASILY get away with something much smaller. Its almost more of an image thing.

I would love to get a diesel BUT ... I dunno shit bout diesels, maintenance is $$, gas is $$, i would have to put stacks on it, they cost waaaaay more $$, I'll never use all that power. For christ sake I'll never use all the power of the V-10. The gas mileage increase of a few MPG doesn't justify the amount of additional cash shelled out for a diesel. I'm anticipating gas mileage around 12mpg city and 14-15 highway according to what all the forum guys say. Besides, the fucking thing is gonna sit around in the garage until I need to go to home depot, I'm not driving it daily. I bought it cause it was a steal, I can't find a comperable 150 for what i paid for this.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I definitely bought it for an "image" thing, I figured it would hide the fact that i have a really tiny penis.
