Chevy Avalanche

Does anyone have any experience with these? For some reason, I have always liked them a lot. I have been looking lately at the 04+ since you can get them without that cladding.

Just wondering if anyone here has had experience with them. So far, everything I have seen/heard is nothing but good stuff about it.

607Motorsports is on a distinguished road

I looked into one of these when I ended up buying my Trailblazer a couple years ago and my uncle has one that he loves. They are definately a personal preference as some people love the look and some hate it. If you're familiar with Chevy trucks at all you won't see much of a difference other than the asthetics. They drive, ride, and perform the same as the 4wd trucks from my experience.

What I love about them is the versatility. You can either have a family hauler or a full size 8 foot bed to haul other stuff. I love the different configurations of the bed in it. Right now I have a 02 Bravada, which is the same as the Trailblazers and although I like it, it would be nice to have a pickup truck sometimes. With our first child on the way as well, I would need a 4 door truck.

I took a ride with a good friend of mine to Boston who has a loaded one. He has a loaded one with leather and everything. I sat in the back, it was SOOOOOO comfortable.

I have heard they are very comfrotable and ride much smoother than other pickup trucks and other SUV's. (Porbably mainly because its on the Suburban frame which is pretty big)

They hold their values fairly well too, which is a plus side considering its GM.

You could always leave it half blocked off though because the glass can stay in there. Thats also assuming you are hauling 8 foot long stuff in the winter.

I found one that I really like, but I think at bare minimum, I will have to wait until after the baby is born. But I figured I would start doing my research now and see what the prices do.

The one I found is a Dark Blue 2004 with no cladding and like 31k miles and they are asking $19995.
